The service

Engofy offers short English texts with word and grammar explanations, a grammar reference, exercises and spaced-repetition review. Much of the content is prepared with the help of AI and may contain mistakes; use it as a learning aid, not as an authoritative source. You can report a mistake from the word popup.

Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your email access secure.
• Provide accurate information and do not share your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attack, overload or probe the service, or bypass its limits or security;
• scrape or copy the content at scale, or resell it;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

Content and ownership

Engofy, its explanations, exercises and design are ours or our licensors'. Texts based on third-party sources are credited to their authors on the text page and remain theirs. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial learning.

Paid features

Some features may be offered as Premium. What they include and what they cost is described on the Pricing page and may change; changes do not affect periods already granted.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or that it meets your learning goals. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
